Fuel in egr??

Fuel in egr??

So i just got this 92 camaro rs and have been going over everything the last week cause a kid a owned it.need to know if this is egr.cause i have fuel in it and know thats probably not a great thing.any ideas whats causeing this

YEs, that is an electronic EGR valve. ACDELCO 2145004 or GM 17091147, and RockAuto has it listed. It appears that a connector goes in the center, but beyond that, I don't know much about them. Mycar has a vacuum actuated EGR valve.

the hose that is in your case directly over the egr is from the charcoal canister witch contains fuel vapor from the tank and then gets to the throttle body
seems like its leaking should be routed behind the ign coil
the service engine soon light should ben on when its disconnected
