Transmission: 700r4 /borg warner t5
v6 4th gen t5 transmission in a v6 third gen
hello
my t5 giving me issues and i want to replace it . i got access to a 3.4l t5 from a 4th generation firebird
the 4th gen gear ratios 3.75 2.19 1.41 1.00 0.72
the third gen gear ratios 4.03 2.37 1.49 1.00 0.76 3.1l v6
so the ratios are longer
my question : is there any problems with the ecm if i change the transmission ?
is the car better to drive ? because the first gear is so awful short
anyone does this conversion ?
