My dad bent this pipe to get to the thermostat housing and no the intake manifold does not sit where it's supposed to. Can I just take this out out completely? It's the silver lines across from the thermostat housing that wrap around by the ac compressor the top line has the spindle thing on top and its the line next to it
It sounds like you are referring to the fuel lines...
If that is true, you need to step away from the car and not touch anything under the hood anymore.
If you are referring to something else, the only thing I have to point out is that EVERTHING under that hood has/had a purpose. It's generally better to keep things working as intended than to just start ripping and hacking..

- Sounds like the fuel feed lines....hopefully its not too bent or punctured...you shouldn;t have to destroy / bend those to get to the t stat though.....
and no the intake manifold does not sit where it's supposed to.
- not sure what this means??

- Perhaps you should point to what you are talking about? Regardless though it sounds like the fuel lines.
