Running rich after sitting
Running rich after sitting
Hey guys, I have a 1989 Pontiac firebird with the 2.8 in it. When it sits over night it starts rough and idles rough until I drive it for awhile. Once I first start it, it backfires a lot and you can smell it running rich. Also while it idles it starts and then drops down to roughly 700-900 rpms. The check engine light also comes on when it runs rough. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Leaking or failed regulator, stuck injector(s).
