New here, got lots of good info from the site.
I have an issue maybe y'all can give some insight on.

92 rs 3.1l V6 automatic, I had the dreaded leaking gas filler tube but was able to seal it to block the gas fumes that were giving me a buzz going down the road. However since then it seems she has a harder time cranking and staying running

I cleaned throttle body, IAC and tps seems good, since then it cranks just fine but will go dead when stopped at a stop sign etc.

Would this possible have anything to do with sealing the tank or just some other random unrelated issue, ran fine no issues before that I do know my oil pressure sensor needs replacement the Guage bounces around all over the place, but was doing that before. Also the PO deleted the egr valve, just has a plate on it, not sure that would effect anything, and even so all was well until I sealed the pinholes in the filler tube

Anyway any tips would be appreciated.

 

If the small vent beside back left wheel wasn't working would this be constricting it, making the fuel pump work harder or is that just a one way valve, like for release of pressure buildup. I am going to test fuel pressure ASAP but haven't had a chance yet.
