Hy,
I have 91 RS 3.1 v6.
I`m in the middle of Europe so I cannot just swap part by part, because it is impossible to source them without ordering over sea...
Car was running fine, then it started to missfire, after that it didn`t start anymore...

None of the plugs were sparking with 0.045 gap, I had to reduce it to 0.025 and now car starts, but missfires...

I will get new coil, plugs and wires for them.

Is there anything else that could cause weak spark on these ignition systems, if B+ supply to the coil is good?
Is it only COIL > WIRE > DISTRIBUTOR (HIGH VOLTAGE PATH...)> WIRE > SPARKPLUG... or anything else to check?

I believe that ignition module, ECM, wiring loom, etc. could only cause no spark, but not weak spark, or am I wrong?


Also I would appreciate if someone could hit me up with list of spark plugs that I could use in that engine... it`s hard to find correct plugs here in Slovenia...
I went thru rock auto parts list for numbers, but I can`t any anything similar here...

Right now I had NGK UR5GP, but those were ordered from America...
