my swap is completed after two weeks of no starting from my car. I found out the timing was off 180° 5 days ago so i fixed that and i was still off a tooth, so i fixed that and now it runs pretty good. All though i kinda turned the car into a fountain because I pluged a coolant temp sensor hole with a spigget and a rubber cap forgetting that coolant is under pressure, so i took it for a test drive down my dead end street and after turning around power sliding i got a rush of coolant on my widshield. Open the hood i had coolant going throught the plug squirting out like a fountain. Now for the good news. The new is I think i gain about 25-30hp the car feels much stronger, but will have to see when i take it on the road tonight, then i'll report my findings.

Sorry for the confusion. What i did was swap my stock 2BBL. intake for an Edelbrock Performer 2BBL. intake. I also swap my distributor out for a vacuum advance one along with a vacuum advance carb. Lots more power.

First time I had to do that mission,
I ended up having the car towed to a place and having them bump start/turn over engine to TDC, then they dropped it in.
You figured yours out, at home.
Once you discover it, it is easy.
Especially with a remote start switch you make (I did that).

 

I got it in right, it runs pretty good, i've got some hesitation to fix and maybe a slight vacuum leak somewhere but other then that a whole lot more power.
