Monkie,
When GM made the Baretta Pace car for the 1990 Indy, they used ISKY springs.
In the GM Performance Parts Book, they use Crane springs.
WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO is several things.
Open pressure is 80-100 closed is close to 200+.
All they really are is "generic" Z-28 Springs, meaning open is 80-100 lbs, closed is closer to 200 lbs.
NOW you CAN reshim your old springs to make these pressure readings.
THE BEST SUGGESTION is ALL NEW VALVE GUIDES and then re-shim springs for the proper spring pressure.
I hope is well for you, friend! Take care.
