Stalling when making turns
Stalling when making turns
Recently bought an 85 sport with the 2.8L V6. Engine seems to run well, but stalls when I have the steering wheel maximally turned when driving (doesn’t happen in park). I’ve read that it could be the power steering. The fluid level is normal, but the color is yellow instead of red. Any ideas to deal with the stalling? I don’t want to change the power steering pump unless I can be sure that’s what it is.

Re: Stalling when making turns
Does it have a psi sending unit/switch on the high psi line?
maybe its bad? Can't remember, but it may be to kick up the rpm?
