Rebuilding 2.8L V6 1986

This is my 1986 Chevy Camaro 2.8L V6 engine that I am rebuilding currently and I was curious if it is okay that when I rotate the engine I know i'm getting compression with the heads on as I can barely move it but is it normal to hear air leaking from the rings on the bottom, it has not ran yet and the oil pan is not connected either.

With valves adjusted and spark plugs installed, yeah that's normal. The rings have gaps, so you will hear the compression bleeding off while rotating slowly.
