Easy go to shop and have Freon drained. Remove hoses, compressor, and PLUG THE FIREWALL TUBES that you expose.(in case you or a later owned ever want A/C back.

Why are you taking it out? to save weight? you'll save maybe 30 pounds.
To gain power? it does not take power unless the A/C is running.

To save weight and space... I did a few tests on it last year and apparently there is no freon left and Im also removeing the rest of the smog stuff but I was going to hold onto everything encase I wanted the A/C back.

Just remove the stuff on the car and be done with it.
Once it's out of the firewall area, you'll never put it back.
Compressors are easy to remove & install. BUT, you'll probably need a pulley for that area now.

Well being Search and Rescue A/C does not exist in my world accept for my house but even in my dorm the ac does not work to well so I figure when I drop the new engine it ill put aluminum heads on IF i can get them for a v-6 then Ill put a fiberglass cowl hood on, pull the back seats out (Im the only one ever in the car) and soon pull the smog pump out and all that will save space and room but i dont know.....

Actually if your car's an 86 you don't need to worry about the pulley, serpentine didn't start til 87. I have no ac on my 86, never did, but the bracket and the hoses are all there, figure that out
