did anyone get one of these for there 2.8 im looking into a dress up alt. to go with my chrome edlebrock v-c and hooker super comp headers that i had sent to jet hot to be coated. any way does anyone have a part# for me ? i called summit and they tell me 249.95 there must be some cheaper out there.

 

I personally would not go Chrome, I would go power coated. Chrome WILL distort color when it gets hot(as alt's do) You mainly find chrome alts on pure show cars cause they are not daily drivers.

Though our cases are aluminum. You could get the factory case polished?

Take alt out. Take apart case. Get the Aluminum parts of the casing. Take a drill/bench grider with a wire brush and brush. Then get a polishing wheel and polishing compound. Polish
