Smog test results. (hopefuly it works this time!)

Had to get my car smog today... I passed with flying collors!! In California no less!

Idle 817RPM %CO2 10.6 %O2 6.1

HC (ppm) Max allowed 120 ME 59

CO% Max allowed 1.00 ME 0.00

2500 RPM %CO2 10.9 %O2 5,8

HC Max allowed 140 ME 3

CO% Max allowed 1.00 ME 0.00

When I did my Distributor O-ring I had to set the timing by ear. So while I was there I asked them to double check the timing for me. It was dead on at 10 BTDC. I gueess I got lucky with the timing!

One other thing I passed the test with the Holley ignition module installed. It is not for sale or use in California, but I passed any ways!!! :lala:

Here is what I have my car engine wise.

1992 Camaro RS 3.1L V6
Custom bent cat back with a Catco cat. and Flowmaster 80 series.
Dual snorkle intake with the bottom cut off and K&N's. (soon to also have air scopes)
Holley ignition module
8.5mm plug wires
Accel Super coil
and many repairs that should have been done several thounds of miles before I bought the car. and many more mods to come after I bring it up to snuff.

OF COURSE YOU PASSED!
You increased ignition to burn up any left over pollutants.
CA is easy to pass with a proper running car. AND if it "looks" proper and your present it as such, they couldn't care less. All they want is your money.
Setting timing by ear was easy, wasn't it?
Make it "idle" smooth, back distributor a slight bit.
Tighten down. Go for test drive up a hill, under load. No need to pull anything.
IF no ping, you've got it right for your engine.
And the timing test confirmed how good your car, runs.
Because you did it (worked on engine) correct.
I'll bet your car flys down the freeway.
