Time to upgrade my exhaust, any one know the part number for a direct fit /OEM cat back system for a resonable price, or even the muffler itself wil do, thanks

I'd get a Dynomax cat back out of Jegs-around $150,good quality.I had one on my old TTA that went 11.90's at over 113mph.

Me.
800-888-8892
Performance for Power Cat Convertor.
2 1/2" in & out $60
Then ask Don about a "Y" junction, like Edlebrock has for their V-8 header set up ahead of the CC.
Smooth that and you've gained 10+ solid HP. Every RPM range
Then go to muffler of your choice.
I have a Z-28 look alike. NO idea of the name, but it sounds good. It came ont eh car.
Look at the passenger side, engine bay for that pipe to look that I mention.

I'd probrobly still get the Dynomax-for $20 more it's worth it to know your getting a good fitting quality product.

Jegs lists several numbers-but I think this is the one for your car:
289-17493 for 82-92 Camaro/Firebird 5.0 Vin H & E and 83-92 Camaro/Firebird w/2.8 and 3.1L motor.Tailpipes on opposite sides.

HTH,
Steve

The Dynomax looks great but doesn't my exhaust set up have one muffler with dual outlets and a y pipe for the header. the dynomax kit comes with two mufflers with their individual pipe leading to each header.......kinda confused, will the dynomax set up work on my 2.8 and will i have to modify any thing to make it connect to my headers?
