my car never came with a tach and i was wondering if some one
knew?

6000 is the factory redline. I've had the tach a little deeper than that round 6500, but kinda useless since there isnt much power there anyway.

Power peaks at 4000-4500.
Anything after that is just to get the engine, in the powerband as it upshifts, quicker.
Learn to listen to your engine.
PS I really refrained from saying "Redline is when the parts are on the ground from blowing the engine"
but....:lala:
