i change my mind pretty much every 5 mins, but i've decided to mod my 2.8 before either selling her, or keeping her and buying another F-body. anyway, i want to put in a dual exhaust setup, and does anyone have pics of a camaro running true duals with cherry bombs?

My 1968 Firedbird w/ a 400 had Cherry Bombs.
It was the greatest sound I'd heard sides' a woman screaming in lust.
My Brother old 1966 Mustang had tehm after th Hooker Headers we put on ti back in teh late 60's.
BUT, this little V-6, NOPE.
I have a Flowmaster two chamber on a 2.8 of mine & I wish I hadn't done that.
I like a more mellow sound.
The 2.8 haven't the guts to make the Cherry Bombs sound correct.

No cherry bombs... you'll make more HP with a dynomax cat-back.

My friend slapped a cherry bomb on his old 1984 2.8 Pontiac 6000; damn that thing was loud, especially when it'd backfire!

Chalk up another vote against the cherry bomb. I currently have the "bomb" with a gutted cat and the car does not sound too good. Sounded great w/o it, too bad the cops didn't appreciate it.

As soon as my current exhaust rusts through (probably won't happen) I will be replacing it with a Dynomax. I miss tthe Real-Fake duals look.
