how hard would it be to put in a 4th gen Lt1 with a T5 or auto in V6 3rd gen?

 

I know that it is possible to put in an LT-1 with a 6spd tranny in a 3rdgen. You have to have all the necessary parts to do it though. engine, tranny, computer, etc. Now whether it being easy or not.....It is pretty much hard to do. once you get all the drivetrain parts in, you're gonna wanna upgrade to V8 suspension. It is much easier to put an LT-1 into a car already equipped with a V8. There maybe some other people on this board that can maybe help you more than I could. Be prepared to spend a lot of $$$$ to accomplish this.

I'll stick with my plans for a 3.4L with headers and high kitty with dynomax cat back. Then I'll put nos in it from there. I should get some nice horse out of that. Plus its a drop in motor and alot cheaper on my wallet.
