Idle problems

I am having some problems with my idling on my 1990 Firebird 3.1l AT. What happens is as soon as I start it the RPMS dive then shoot up to a couple hundred RPM above normal and stay there until I hit the gas or put my car into gear. Cruising it is almost normal, not 100% but basically normal. Then, when I come to a stop the engine will almost die, then rev up, then almost die, then rev up, over and over again. Once and awhile it will die under hard braking when coming to a stop.
I am pulling the error codes 32 and 45. This all started after I reset my computer while switching batteries.
Thanks a ton,
Douglas
