My speedometer and odometer went out on me today . All of a sudden Im driving along doing "0" and Im not putting anymore miles on my car either , its stuck on 184999 .Ive heard there is a cable inside of there , is this hard to fix guys ? Can I do it ya think ? Does it require special tools ? It's one thing after another with this car , but I LOVE it to much to sell it , the money I put into it I can be paying notes on a 98-99 but I wont do it !!!! and besides , Im kinda having fun getting my hands greesy working on it

 

I took it back to the shop , broken speedo cable , they are fixing it tomorow at no charge , they said "he should have changed that when he re-built the tranny .

 

Glad to hear they covered it for you! I had to pull & regrease my girl's dad's Camaro's speedo cable; it was a pain getting that dashboard apart.
