Got my 3.4 today
Checked it out before I left work tonight. It looks like it's in OK condition. I pulled a few plugs (original ones) and they were carbon fouled....this kind of irked me so i'll have to do a solid inspection of the whole motor before I even think about running it.
KARL, did you use the 3.4 exhaust manifolds or your 2.8 ones???

IN MY SITUATION, yes I did.
EVERYTHING LINED UP PERFECTLY
The less you touch the better.
Regarding plugs.
DON'T WORRY!
When you swap the intakes and pull the pan, that's when you'll know the true condition of the engine.
