Car: sold the Z now i'm drivin a 81 toyota celica and an 01 Suzuki TL1000R
Engine: 90degree 998cc V twin
Transmission: 6 speed
question about gears...
is anyone one here running 4.10 gears in their V6 5 speed??? my 3.42's are about to go and i'm looking at either 3.73's or 4.10's i'd like to know what kind of rpms your cars turnin with these, lets say at 60mph in 5th and what kind of top speed i'll be limited to with the 4.10's (i know it wont be high) any info will be much appreciated

I tell ya though, now that I'm back on a 3.42/open/drum axle from a junkyard '88 Camaro, I can definately tell the difference. The car isn't as zippy as it was. 'Fact, I'm now driving under the speed limit!! I got so used to being at a certain speed by "hearing" the engine RPM, that now, I'll catch myself doing 5-10 under the limit without realizing it. I think I'm flying down the road, but I'm really poking along. Ha, I guess I won't get a ticket!
