cams swapable? 2.8 - 3.4

cams swapable? 2.8 - 3.4

will the 204 214 cam out of my 2.8 fit in a 95 camaro with a 3.4. the came doesnt even have a 1/2 mile on it, but are the journals and bearings different withs or diamiters?

That cam is pretty much what is in a 3.4 already.
I don't believe you'll see any true benefits for the effort.
Be a good cam for someone wanting to hop up a 2.8-3.1, tho.
Add chain. lifters, good to go!
Sell on ebay!

well ive got the whole engine on a stand in my garage. its a 2.8 .040 over with a 204 214 cam. it doesnt even have 3500 miles on it

Strip it for taking on a 3.4 swap, sell the left over long block (2.8) now & start going faster!
I need to buy a cheap 2.8.
But, shipping to CA is expensive, I'll bet!
I'll end up swapping in a 3.4 cause I can get it cheap out here.

ahh, i see well the 86 (wich had the 2.8) is jsut sitting aournd till i find a 454 block, but im goin to look a 95 camaro with a 3.4 5sp. in it in like 2 hours
