ok guys listen, we put new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new cap and a new rotor and we put it in time. I still get that banging backfire when I rev it up. It's coming from the intake. And now, Something keeps killing my battery?? WTF?

Battery, Bad Alternator aor bad plug in going to the alterator or a short in the wiring harness of the car.

Vaccum lines is all you have left bud. If the timing is set perfect, then there msut be something wrong. Maybe a bad EGR valve. But seriously your running out of options. Maybe you should take it to a real mechanic at a chevy dealer. It may be something simple your overlooking.
