I have new found respect for you V6 cars

I am trying to get a camaro/firebird club started in the area and we had a few ppl show up (hehe go figure started and ran by an import guy . well after we all met up my friend (greenmachine92rs) and I went out to BFE to see how his car was running.

he asked me if I wanted to drive and I was just kinda um.... ok but can I spin the tires??

at first he said no but then changed his mind to only a small burn out.... big mistake to even say yes :-D

well took the car out real quick so I can at least get used to the way it runs. then I ended turning the car to the left to light up the tires then once they started spinning just put the car straight ahead ( no dumping of the clutch at all )and just take off, hit second and spun them again.

when my friend and I head back to check out the tire marks we say a nice DUAL 40 foot long tire mark and I kid you not on this.

then look a little further down the line and about another 5-10 foot mark with BOTH tires once again from when I shifted into second

this car feels a lot faster then I thought they would

feels faster then my RX-7 did when stock and yet I was still faster then him. kinda weird

only thing I do no like about the car is the brakes lock up WAY too easy, the power just drops off QUICK after 5500 rpms, and the shifter is WAY too stiff. you have to yank on it full force almost to get it to shift gears. and to even get it into first you have to slam it hard.

but all in all I was impressed at what his car could do

92 RS 3.1/Stick
tornado air
K&N drop in filter
and I think vortec cherrybomb muffs ( tried to ask but darn idgot just ignored me , so he can correct me later)

keep those V6 cars moving

there is this road i park on at my school, its kinda a rough cheap version of blacktop, when i get the car peeling out, and the rpm's ate almost 5k, i can shift into 2nd real fast and when i hit 2nd it leaves long 2 tire treads on the ground. it only does it if i am hardly moving when i peel 1st...

Around where i live people do some really dumb things. So unless you have a death wish you'll do it. Most people go to Doti road, which is outside Chicago and every nite they'll get busted by the Cops. Something out of the fast and the furious. Trust me, that's a lot of parking tickets!:sillylol:

hehe forgot to comment on 1/4

but since I am a thread ***** I will make another post

not sure what he runs in the 1/4

he doesn't really want to take it to the track

but I am sure it will prolly bust into the 16.x range

how hard is it though to leave a burnout like I did though?
