Selling the GTA for real this time...

A few months ago I was thinking about selling the GTA because the wife and I bought a house. We were doing better than expected so I decided to keep it, for future enhancements...

Well now I finally knocked up the wife and I dont see anything happening to the GTA for quite some time. So its going to be for sale again. I need to get it detailed, there is a slight funk smell as it has been sitting for over a year. I need to get the AC checked out, the compressor kicks on then off, on then off... other than that it just needs paint. So hopefully Ill have it ready within a week or two.

I through in a new battery, and some gas and the beast fired right up(had been starting it every month or so then the battery went out about 6 months ago). Drove it down some roads to make sure all was well... Man this thing is SO fun to drive, I forgot how nice the power is(especially compared to my pos Ford F150). Still spins the tires in second(with 3 guys in the car!).

I was thinking $4k obo, but I guess that depends on whats what with the AC and if I decide to have it painted to up the value...

89 GTA
5.7 auto
65,7xx miles
Needs paint(hood has 2yr old dupont)
Interior is mint with fading on the top of the back seats

Will give more specs when its ready to go or is requested.
Here are some recent pics, I just got it home and hosed it off(still dirty)

Spoiler R

I really dont want to sell it as I love this car, but it is going to either sit and rot or go to someone that will do something with it...
Thanks
Brian

Got the ac converted to R134 and it now works perfect. I also got her smogged and registered, so she is ready to go!

no offense but i would give you close to 4 k for that car, dont get me wrong it has a nice engine and everything but its has a crapload of **** to do to make it nice, the outside is horrable and the interior is okay but there isn't even a a stereo in it, but pics never justify a car so let me know where your at so i can come look at it, thanks

well I guess the pics dont do it justice. The interior, besides the fading on the top of the back seats is absolutely mint. She needs paint and a radio, which I will probably end up putting in there, thats it...

Im about 5 hrs south of you in Porterville, its about half way between Fresno and Bakersfield

hey porky its not like everything is free, things like the rear wing aren't really fixable, and its still labor and time that i have to put into it instead of money to get it to look nice kind like why you still want to charge me a 1k just to get the combo in your bird. and if something is messed up its messed up and it doesn't matter who the buyer is. but i am leaning towards getting 87tpi car but not set in stone yet.

cause your looking at 20+ hrs of labor if you want someone to do hard manual labor its gotta cost, if you want something free or close to it pay buddies in beer, and pizza and learn on your own how to mess things up when to do it lol

but i would get a maaco job before trying to sell this gta for 4K that paint is just really bad.... get a paint job on it and i dont see a problem with your price

Thats what I was thinking about doing, and the maaco in visalia is supposed to be pretty good too. But I just figured Id try to sell it the way it is. But if I take it to maaco the price is going to go up because then it will be pretty much a mint gta and people wont have much to complain about with it. But Im still not sure if I wanna keep it black or go with something else...
