That looks pretty good man
I will be sticking with my 15" stock firebird wheels for a long time as I am saving for new paint.

If Ronals aren't available when I build up an 83 Firebird later in life, I might go with these:

Anyone have black rims on a white T/A? Zr1's, Y2K's, something like that.

Love the post. Lots of great wheels and cars but after seeing them all and weighing options....I think i still like the late iroc wheels the best.

Guys, how do you think some Ronal Firehawks with red windows look on my camaro? I think it would look absolutely sick...
My question is, do ronals weigh more than 91-92 z28 wheels? And if they do, by how much? The last thing i need is to loose even more of the scarce RWHP that i have because of heavier wheels...
Also, when do you guys think they will make their last production run. I probably wont have the money until the summer...you think they'll still be around until then?

I personally think that The Ronal Firehawk rims look way better on a Camaro than Firebird...
As far as weight, They are probably slightly lighter, (Call hawks) BUT there is something that is often overlooked.
If a 16" rim weighs 10# (example), and a 17" rim weighs 9# (example), the 16" rim may spin up faster becuause of centrifical weight. Because 75% of a rims mass is on the outer portion where the tire is, it will take more power to spin up.... THe up side is the overall weight of the rim being lighter may handle bumps better because there is less "Unsprung" weight, alowing the suspension to work faster. Also because the profile of the tire is lower this restricts the tire from twisting when turning therefore making it faster responding.
Its a give and take.

and i think you should ditch the z28 rims for awhile and pick up a set of firehawks, but not red windows, black or white, i know your thinking red to go with the stripes, but the rims arent close enough to the stripes to accent eachother, and with your car being white, go with the white 'windows'
