Re: need ur imput on wheels.

Get 17x9.5 all around. At least that way you can rotate the tires

One of my buddies is running ROH RT wheels on his 3rd gen bird and they look good. Plus they are a forged wheel that costs about the same as a cast wheel. Here's the link.

i like the last 2. i just can't do all black wheels. there has to be some machined, pollished,or chrome. thats why i like the last 2 u listed. i would really like anthracite or graphite and pollished aluminum.

but this is great guys keep them comming. feel free to list pics of ur wheels on a maro or bird. all the searching that i've come up with where the threads are so old, alot of the pics don't load anymore.
thanks again everyone.
Jay.

here ya go. does anyone have these on?

Re: need ur imput on wheels.

I have these on my 84 TA, but the chrome ones. I get comments all the time. They look better on mine the a 4th gen. I will have pics up this spring.
I wasn't sure how the would look at first. But I really wanted 17's. And for $75 for all 4, what could I lose?

Re: need ur imput on wheels.

the centerlines im not a fan of, or any of the "fake" bolted looking wheels.
those machined/black c6 wheels are wayyyyy awesome, someone just needs to put a fat dish on them and they would sell like double cheeseburgers.

I have the black & polished ones like those on my 89 RS. They are actually knockoffs from Discount Tire in a 17" X 8.5" with 15mm offset.

I wanna see that, I have a 90 formula and a set of 10 spokes in the garage.

I really like the new YearOne snowflake wheels. I think they would look sick on a thirdgen

Re: need ur imput on wheels.

I'm going to say that those rims aren't for me. But I also say that you should buy what you like and not what other people like or dislike about rims that are going to go on your car. Buy what makes you happy not what others might like!
