rim not holding air?
i drove to the toyota dealership today for a job i just took there and i had to talk to the manager, anyways he didnt end up being there and i did notice the car pulled alittle to the left while driving and i notice my tire is low, like really low, to the point you can see it wore alittle sidewall, so i have to ask one of the techs at toyota to fill my tire up with air. they fill it to 40 psi and i make my way home so i can take the tire off and take it to sears where i work, anyways turns out i have a warranty on the tire and i take it back to firestone where i purchased it. they pump the tire to 60 psi and put it in the bucket of water and they think there bubbles forming on the lip of the rim (they didnt sound to sure of themselves) anyways they say they cant do anything, and i ask them if they can put bead sealer on the lip to help, but they say its a liability and yadda yadda. anyways has anyone had any problems with really slow leaks on their car? i pump up my air every month and a half when it starts looking alittle low, but today i didnt even notice it got to that point.
the tires i have are Fuzion Vri tires on Turbo rims, ill put up a pic of them soon, but its just killing me how this tire is brand new and somehow its leaking slowly, i even replaced the valve stem.
any tips or comments on this would be greatly appreciated

Re: rim not holding air?
the bead could have oxidation on it, causing a bad seal.
if they didnt want to help you at the firestone dealer, go somewhere else, they apparently dont appreciate your business.

Re: rim not holding air?
is it possible to just dismount the tire and sand down the bead alittle bit if it is oxidized?
