How Good Are These Tires?
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overv...-a-kdw/22.html
BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW.
I work at a cell phone kiosk inside a local costco, and about 20 minutes ago (Yes I am creeping on the work computer
) while I was up front getting our inventory report, saw a stack of these tires. I could probably get them for a good price. A guy who works here has 4 of them on his 3000GT VR-4 and I thought they looked pretty nice.
But, to all who have used these or heard about them, how do they perform? Are they good for wet traction? I need something that can keep the car in check during rain. I run Nitto drag radials in back so I need something that can offer superior dry and wet traction to keep the car under control if the rear end decides to get squirley. I was looking at the Goodyear Eagle F1's, but they don't come in a 15" rim size so those are out of the question. How well would these tires stack up?

Re: How Good Are These Tires?
No no. I'm keeping the drag radials on the back. What I'm looking for is a good set of performance street tires for only the front. Ikm most likely not going to go with the g-force tires now as the only 15" size they make are 205's. I'd prefer something with a 245 width. Anyone got any suggestions? Does nitto make anything good in this category?

Re: How Good Are These Tires?
they are a decent tire. Im using them and they work ok. Traction is pretty good, but they are a little unstable at higher speeds, right about 88-90 mph they start to wander a bit. Tread wear is not the best, but you cant expect much from a performance tire.
If they price is really good, pick them up.
i've only used them in the rain a couple times, but was fairly impressed with their wet traction.
