Re: Corvette rim questions

I see no link, but judging by the 18x10.5" rear you're talking about, i'll assume you're talking about running a Z06 rim. For the front, you can run a 275/40/17 and the rears run a 295/35/18. Those are the stock Z06 sizes. You'll need 2" spacers all the way around unless you're running a 4th gen rear. With the 4th gen, it's wider so the spacers aren't needed.

Re: Corvette rim questions

i got 18X10.5 with 2.25 inch spacers and i like they way they fit and i have 295-30-18 i going to get 315 next time i get tires for the rear

and for the front.. i have a 17X9.5 rim but i have the 2.25 inch spacer for the front as well and the tie rod ends are really really close to hitting the rim.. i actually had to grind on of them down so they wouldn't hit... so idk about a 2 inch spacer

Re: Corvette rim questions

Which Vette wheel you have, will determine which spacer you need.

Re: Corvette rim questions

Yes, if you run a wider 4th gen rear, you can run the 10.5" Z06 size wheel w/out spacers. The fronts are still 9.5" wide and the offset is different from the stock wheels, so that's why the spacers are necessary. Once you get them, try bolting them up w/out them...you'll see instantly why you need them.
