Car: 85 Firebird & Grand Prix GXP
Engine: LG4 305 (originally 2.8L V6)
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3:43 Open Diff.
16 and 15 inch stock wheel tire options?
I have the aluminum Firebird 15 and 16 inch slotted aluminum wheels. I was looking to put the 15 inch up front and the 16" in the rear.
I was looking to have a wider and taller stance in the rear compared to the front and was wondering what the best tires were for this without having problems fitting? I bought the 16" rears because they were wider.

I know the 295/50/16's supposedly should fit but those are some damn expensive tires from what I've found. Anyone done this with a 225 or 235/50/15 in the front?
