Hey guys went ahead and bought some wheels they are 17x9 wheels with a 5.00bs all around and need some ideas on tire sizes. I want a staggered look. Any pictures would be nice.
275/40's will probably be Ok on the rear, but may hit on the front as they will stick out a bit. I prefer a little more BS (appox 5.5", depending on wheel brand) instead.
You may want to try a 245/45 for the front. Same height but a little narrower.

yeah I actually tried the wheel on the front and had a inch away from the wheel and tie rod and 3/4 of a inch from the strut its pretty close but I cant complain I got a good deal on them. But I ve talk to my uncle he said id probley be best with a 265/45 on the back and a 255/45 on the front if they make those sizes. I wish I could find some good pictures of some
On Probation
I've actually asked BFGoodrich to release some 275/45R17 Radial T/A tires. They asked me what the market was. I sent back a list of everything they should fit, and they said they'd forward my proposal tho the manager of marketing, North America. That was Friday.
That would be awesome! keep me up dated.

Yes,keep me updated as well. I need to replace my goodyear f1 tires with new ones
has anybody ran 255/40/17 on the rear and 245/40/17 on the front? with a 17x9 tire?

I run 275/40s front, 5" bs & zero rub issues. Ball joint to rim edge clearance, at stock height, was VERY minimal. But they are under the fenders & never rubs anywhere.
