Re: Snowflakes
Looks great, How much room do you have from rubbing anything? I want 18s in the rear with zero offset and the Billit wheels. What do you think? Also what size tires did you go with up front. I know Jeremy went with 245 up front.

Re: Snowflakes
These are 17x9 Cast wheels and they have no rubbing issues. I am not sure how the billet version would do. I went with 255/40-17's on the front and Jeremy was right you could go with 275's all the way around. In The cast wheels anyway.

Re: Snowflakes
I got these from year one and they bolted right on. There is a difference in the offset for a 4th gen rear end and these particular wheels only come one way i think. I could be wrong so please check with Year one.

Re: Snowflakes
$749 plus shipping so it was a hair under $900 not including the centercaps and lugs. I would recommend getting those from Ebay as they cost $180 for the caps and $95 for the lugs from Year One.

Re: Snowflakes
No They actually are for the 2nd gen cars but they will fit a 3rd gen no problem. That is unless you've modified your suspension. Then you may have to check. 4th gen have more of an offset I am told.

Re: Snowflakes
Have you thought of putting a Turbo Bird on the hood instead of a shaker, like off a 80-81
Ive never seen it done And I think it would look Slick

Re: Snowflakes
Bota - I wish I wouldn't have seen this post. All I can think about now is putting a set on my TA. I have been looking for the right wheel and I do like the look of a factory style. Sort of makes the car look like a cross between OEM and custom.
Your car looks great and the wheels are perfect. Well done!

Re: Snowflakes
I am TRYING to get myself hooked up with some 17x9 Snowflake rims. Question is about backspacing.... The ones I want have a backspacing of 6.5. Are they gonna fit my '88 Formula without any issues? Then there's the tires. I have wanted to fill up my wheel wells instead of the "swimming" look I am getting with my stock 16x8 245/50/16's, but I don't want any rubbing, or tires sticking out past the flare. Tryin' to get this ball rolling. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Snowflakes
they look fantastic. ...just ordered them for my 82 TA. 275 all around 17 × 9
After talking with Twin_Turbo and JeremyNYR I went with the snowflakes. Their cars looked great and I Love the Platinum TA. So here are mine to add to the list..
