Finally got some different wheels that would fit my car better, the others were 10'' wide in the rear and tires would rub in the fender wells. The pictures aren't the best as they were taken this evening.

i believe you have to do extensive inner fender mods to run that backspace with a tire with any size to it.

 

Mods arent too bad. Well worth it. I run a 275 on my 15x10.

 

a 275 looks good are you runnig a 50 or a 60?im running a 29/11.5 hoosier and it fits under the car with no airplane look.

 

I run street tires. Mickey Thompson S/T 275/60/15.

not a prob ive been there. i started mine when i was 13. im 20 now so many years of time and money.

 

yeah its hard i want speed but i have to drive it every day.. any suggestions about a motor?? but it has to bolt up to a 700R4?

 

lucky for you. you chose a chevy and any motor will bolt right to your 700. small block or big block or a 6 cyl. the only problem is a thirdgen is not cheap to make go down the track fast. its hard to try and keep your car both streetable and fast.i went the same route at your age but soon you will deside one or the other. i hardly drive my car now its mostly race only. to keep it streetable and affordable you can go into the 10s after that you need to make alot of power or really strip some weight.
