Having issues with 19x10 c6 rears
Hey all, I just got around to putting up my rearend I just built and installing my c6 wheels.
Now I havent had the car on the ground but my setup is a stock width rear with 2.25 rear spacers for the 19x10. I can clearly tell I am going to have some issue with for a lack of better words the lower corner of the interior compartment where rear passengers would sit. I think this may be able to be cut out some and mabey punched in a little to get a little extra clearance. The car has been up on stands for over a year and I was having an issues with the top of the rim/tire hitting on the bump stop area. Will this not be an issue when the car is on the ground and the bump stop is more or less farther toward the center of the rim?
Can anyone tell me some insight on what theyve done for any of these issues.

Trim that corner off, watch for the pinch weld area & not go through it, or you'll be wanting to weld or body-adhesive (stock chassis stuff) the 2 back together.
You can knock that area in some more if needed. I had to knock quite a bit in & trim out more than just that area, because of my 7" bs & no spacers.
The bumpstop will fit more towards the center of the wheel at ride height, but you might encounter rubbing at full axle droop, like when jacking the car up.

The corner is almost a guaranteed "problem" area, but hard to say without knowing backspacing/offset info. And is more likely for the tires to hit there, than the wheels themselves.
No guarantee other areas won't hit without work, but nothing is impossible.

I had the same problem, used a 4thGen rear end, plus hmmm I believe 1/2 inch spacers ? And the wheels wouldn't fit in the back, bumper stop caused the biggest problem, but so did the corner. So don't know if I should buy slightly bigger spacers once I return from deployment ?

I didn't have much of a problem, just massaged the inner corner a bit with a hammer, didn't have to cut anything using a stock rear and 2" spacers. went i went to an ls1 rear i used a 1/4" spacer
