i have an 92 camaro rs i can get a 87 iroc rearend ,posi with 3.73 gears an disc brakes . my question is will my 15 " rs rims fit on this rearend ?
i have searched but couldn't find the answer so if someone with this knowledge would reply i would be very greatfull . thanks

I dont see why not. The bolt pattern is the same as well as the width and those wheels should have no problems clearing the brakes.

 

Yes they will. Everything is the same.

 

An 87, IIRC, with disc brakes should be a 9-bolt. 3.73 is a 10-bolt gearing. 86 would have been the last year for a 10-bolt with 3.73's.

Buyer beware.

i could be mistaken on the gear ratio but i was wondering if the 15" rims will work with the disc brakes . my rs has drum brakes i 'm just making sure i can still use the wheels i already have . thanks for your help .

i have an rs camaro i like the wheels i'm gonna paint them black,but i've found a rearend out of a 87 iroc with disk brakes an it's a posi unit which i'm gonna need after i build the 305 an turbo it this spring .

 

Yes. As others have indicted, there will be no fitment issues.

That '87 rear may be a borg warner as they were an option in '87 for the iroc's. Their still may be the metal tag on the side of the pot and also all 9 bolts are borg warners. If it is than the ratio will be 3.70's and no fitment issues. There is lots of info on 9 bolts around here as well as tightening the posi and checking the cones. I had one that lasted a ton of abuse for years.
