Pics of GTA wheels on non-GTA thirdgens (or on anything else I guess)
The title pretty much says it. I'd like to get a set of GTA wheels at some point and I've seen quite a few local Camaros driving around with them mounted. There are a few million pics out there of GTA's with factory wheels, so let's see all the other cars running 'em!

There's a blue '70 Chevelle around that has silver GTA fronts on it. Looks good too. I wish I had a pic of it to share.

Here is my late wife's 90 RS for autocross. The '87 GTA wheels were the street wheels. The track wheels were lightweight 3-piece wheels with "slicks" (soft compound, treadless track) tires. I forget what brand.
Here it is with the "tow rig".

Just saw this car & figured I'd add the pics here.

Keep in mind....The 87 wheels are Grand National "copies". 88+ are virtually the same. Just the dimples visually & a bit stronger. So basically....They are really Grand National wheels.
They were chosen by Pontiac due to their really low weight & the GTAs were so loaded with options, they needed to shed some weight on the car.

Just put them on today!!
I got them from the picknpull. working there gets me first dibs
.
Going with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport 255/50/16 and a GMMG catback to go with the LT1 swap.

It's a sad story as well.
An 89 firebird gta came in for early retirement.
That means the car gets crushed, even though it runs.
It was red and it ran great.
I tried convincing the lady she could at least part it out for more than a grand(what the government gives for BAR cars.)
She said no, then i told her i'd buy it for $1100.
She said prove you have the money.
I had $800 at the time.
So that was that.
We can't take anything off those cars except for the wheels, battery, and stereo equipment.
But at least i snagged the wheels.

Did you notice if the car feels more stable during cornering or quicker off the line now?

I really like the GTA wheels, but I dont think they belong on an Iroc, just like I dont think Iroc's belong on a GTA??? Does that make sense
I do think both set of wheels (IROCS/GTA's) look good on many other makes.
