Beating a dead horse

Hey All,

I wasn't able to find an answer to my question via already submitted threads. So I figure I would just ask.

I have a '92 RS and it's time for some new tires. But as many of you already know finding 235/55/16 tires is becoming increasingly difficult.

So with that in mind I am looking at 245/50/16's now. Does anyone know if I can clear these tires on my car?

Everything on the car is stock just as it left the factory. If need be I can roll the fenders for some clearance if I need it.

Also how far off will the speedometer be?

Thanks in advance

Dave

He's correct. You will have NO problem with the 245/50's. They will even look better on your ride!

245/50/16 is what I've had on my 1992 RS for 5+ years now.

275s should fit if you really wanted to go that route. I have 15x8s on the back with 275/60/15.

I have 245/50/16 and plenty of room to go bigger.
