hub is too big. what do i do?

I got a set of FREE R1 Racing Rims from my boss as a gift. He had them sitting in his basement for a few years with tires attached and everything.

I went home and jacked up the camaro to put these rims on, but the camaro's hub was too wide for the rims BARELY.

What do i do? i want these rims on my car. thanks everyone

take the wheels to a machine shop and have the hun openings opened up. if it its close, you can probably do it with a file or grinder. dont go crazy though, and dont leave sharp edges.

if it's really close you can use a sanding drum chucked in a drill motor . make about 8-10 circular passes about center hole of the wheel . ck. fit , do a couple of more times till it fits . just sand off enough to get a proper fit , you can always grind more off . it's really hard to grind some back on . you can get a sanding drum at Lowes , Home Depot etc. , any drill motor . i had to do this to my new ZQ8 rims a few years ago to fit on my rear drums . piece of cake its so easy to do . good luck .
