Re: wheels

There different offsets and backspacing between the front and back. Same goes for the firebird ones too. You wouldn't be believe how many times shops have told me they can rotate my tires for cheap and I try to tell them the front and backs don't swap out, but they assure me rotation fees cover that then try to charge me $30+ per tire at the end.

Re: wheels

The wheels are marked (front & rear ) for a reason. The only correct way to rotate tires is to dismoumt them & rebalance which is expensive. Been there and done it at $60 per rotation.

Re: wheels

The thing is, when buying aftermarket wheels, you don't always need staggered offsets.
Too many people on here are running fronts on all 4 corners, with no spacers, and it works great! Or do the 1LE brakes, then you can run rears on all 4 corners.
Look at that next thread, about snowflakes and lowered. Those 17x9" wheels are close to a zero offset, and they fit fine, on all 4 corners, with no spacers.
That car must not have 1LE brakes.
