OEM Z06 rims
ok I am looking at buying a set of real z06 pulled off of an 02 for my 89 GTA. Ive looked but cant seem to find anyone on here running actual vette rims. Just wondering what kind of spacer i would need to run and how much they might stick out? I have a third gen rear end.

Re: OEM Z06 rims
Regular C5 wheels are: 17x8.5 & 18x9.5, these require a 2" spacer front & back on a 3rd gen rear. (This is what I have)
C5 Z06 Wheels (01 thru 04) are 17x9.5 & 18x10.5, so if the math is the same, by them being an inch wider front/back they would require a 1" spacer. HOWEVER, this is an educated guess on my part, you have to look-up the offset as that will give the final truth. Good Luck!

I just 2 mounted C6 Z06 rims on my 89 gta today. Gotta install the other 2 over the weekend. Mine are the OE replicas black in 17x9.5

Re: OEM Z06 rims
You don't need longer studs.
The adapters have 5 holes that your stock lugs fit through that the lug nut hold it on to. Then the adapter has 5 studs sticking out that the wheels fit on & 5 more lug nuts hold the wheels on.

Took a quick pic of the rims, I'll get better pics of the whole car when it's not so humid. Kinda crazy that way up here in MN it gets so muggy that the camera lens keeps fogging up.

Mine barely do if at all. The front ones don't, the back do a little but it looks like my rear end isn't totally center which my panhard bar should take care of.
