street lites
OK.
orderd a set of billit street lights
and a set of the center line 721 to see what ones i would like the best.
front wheels at this point only for a look see..
i think the street lights would be a pain to keep up (buffing out every few month.) like i do my weld drag lites (that always look new).
the 721's are a 1 piece billit wheel front 4" x 15 are about 13lb ea(bit hvy)
and the billets spclt are lighter. but a bit bissy with the mechn work on them..
centerline did tell me they would make the rear wheels with any back space i wanted for $227 for ea wheel.(nice of them) just to damn heavy.
anybody up keep the billit spcl street lites.and how that working out.
going with diff set of wheels.that are more open..

Re: street lites
after looking at the Billt Spec street lites.I have to say. yuck!.. they are just dated. and every body and ther dog has a set.
Sorta like the weld Drag Lites i have now.(but the drag lites are easy to buff out to looking new)
so weld wheels told me they have a new wheel out. well out for the last 10 months
lighter then the Drag Lights 15x 3.5 by almost 2lbs just on the front 15x3.5 RTS wheels. so i orderd one of them and will take a look see at it.
the RTS wheels come in 15 / 16 / 17 / 18 / 20
and have a black anodized center or polished center.
come with caps and stems.

this one is a bit wider then the one i orderd. but you can see what they look like.
so all the plating and wilwood brakes can be shown off...lol

thid one shows the black anodizing.
you can also get them set up to fit any brake caliper size.
its going to take till sep18th to get the one i orderd..to see if i like them.
and keeping them buffed out looks like it should be easy also..
and i get $100 back from weld wheels rebate (for 4 wheels)

Re: street lites
I have a 91 and looking around on here to see what info I can find. I want to stay with a 15" wheels. I have some knock off weld wheels on there now but they are heavy. I am looking for back spacing info. I want to put the widest tire I can and it not rub on the rear.
Any info on backspacing (without mods), pics? Thanks.
