c5 wheels

c5 wheels

I just bought c5 wheels and they rub tie rod really bad. How do I elimante that?

Did you use 2" adapters? Less and they will rub. I have 18" on all 4 wheels with 255 up front 2" adapters and have lots of room.

bingo! spacers are a must with vette/4th gen rims

Thanks. what's the biggest tire I can fit up front? The wheels have 275 40 17s

I had 295s on C5 Z06 wheels (with 2" spacers) on the front, and they fit without any problems.

Anybody know how wide I could go in the rear with 4th gen rear? I really want to get 315s on the rear

315s should fit OK, depending on the offset of the wheel. My car with 315 Hoosiers on 17X11s in the rear (50mm offset wheels and 2" Skulte spacers):



The tires just barely rub the lower control arms. Just enough that there's a small buildup of rubber. But that comes from doing stuff like in the pic above. Normal street driving wouldn't be an issue.

Ill be doing plenty of what's in that above picture haha. Maybe ill try those offset control arms then to counter act the rubbing
