18" Iroc wheels - How wide to go?

I'm in th process of buying the Iroc aftermarket 18" wheels. I want to send the rear wheels out to be widened.

I've seen a couple of people on here go 18x11 with some major mods. I'm trying to understand what is the widest you can go with the aftermarket Iroc wheels without cutting into stuff. I'm ok with some minor hammerin if needed.

I'm also curious if the people that went 11" was it worth it and would you do it again or would you gone with something slightly smaller like a 18x10.5 where it may not have required cutting?

Also I have the Eibach Pro kit springs for a slight drop.

Thanks

Ive Also had the same idea but havnt quite got to the rims on my build yet, it has been in the back of my mind however. Ive seen some threads of 17x10 and they looked fine with no mods discussed, so im thinking atleast 10 but 10.5 would be even better lol.

Advantage of an 11 inch wheel would be the potential of fitting these bad boys on it.

P315/30R18 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial

I think they retain about the same tire height as stock also.

Again would love to hear feedback/lessons learned from some of the people that went 11".

18" wheels dont have a very good tire selection over a 295. at the 295 size, there is a crap ton. a 295 fits an 18x10.5 perfectly. IMO, thats the way to go, and how i just went....

Note that the OP is having the wheel widened.
