Front Tires Rub!
Front Tires Rub!
So I bought new tires [just BFG Radial T/As] a month or two back, 255/70R15s in the back and 235/70R15s in the front, but sometimes the front tires rub the inner fenders when I turn at certain angles.
I was just wondering if there was anyone else with the same size front tires and if there are any tricks or modifications to making them fit more comfortably?
Oh, and if it makes any difference, I just replaced all the shocks and struts with KYB GR2s a week ago - with no noticeable improvements.

Holy Cow that's a tall tire for a third gen. The stock 215/65/15's were only 26" and 245/50/16's were only 25.7" tall approx. Most run tires in the 25.7 to 27" tall range, a 235/70/15 is 28" tall. To each their own but not sure why you would go with a 70 series tire on a sports car, the extra side wall kills the cars handling abilities.

you bought stock tires for an s10 not a camaro. I'd return them if the salesman talked you into it, otherwise you need a much shorter tire as posted above.

Even the rears are tall, you may get some rubbing if you go over a bump with a carload of people, not sure. You should have 60 series, not 70...maybe a 235/60/15 front & 255/60/15 rear if running 15 inch rims. Not sure what's under your hood, but a taller tire isn't the answer to traction issues.
