Got some new rims and tires for the 91 Z28
After a lot of research and looking at many different rims I ordered some Billet Specialties Ralley rims for my car. I had a 10% off discount code from Summit so I got a pretty good deal on them. It took about 3 weeks to get the rims because the are custom made to order. Tires are Firestone Firehawk wide ovals. I'm very impressed with the quality of the rims and tires. It took very little weight to balance them. I'm happy with the look it gave the car. I still need to clean and paint the brakes, I'll do that later when I have more time. This size tire keeps the height the same as stock so I don't have to deal with the speedo being off. I may lower the car about an inch later on too to give it the exact stance that I want.
Front 17x8 with 4.5 backspacing, 245/45/17 tire
Rear 17x9.5 with 5.5 backspacing, 275/40/17 tire
Here are some pics, I'm not the best photographer but you should get an idea of how they look.

These rims have a nice deep dish to them especially on the rear. You can also see how well they are tucked in. I wanted a decent size rim/tire with no rubbing issues and it worked out very well with this size.

Very nice look. Billet Specialty wheels are not cheap; I've looked into them. I've been to their factory in Chicago and it is pretty impressive.

It's good to know the sizes and offsets. I've been looking at getting some other wheels that aren't in the standard of what people put on.
