I think the bolt pattern is bigger on the equinox, so they won't fit.

Those are a FWD offset wheel, which would require spacers. Because of that, you could have custom spacers made to adapt the proper lug nut pattern if it was required. Unfortunately, whatever bargain you get on the wheels would probably be offset by the new spacers, so unless it's because you really like the look I'd say it's not feasible.
