i just baught corvette rims for my 88 camaro they are 17x8.5 in the front and dont seem to fit. the shock is in the way and the steering thing is inside the wheel. the lugs are hardly getting through the slots right now. is there anything i can buy to make them fit or what should i do? the car is jacked up obviously right now and it doesnt seem to work idk if that would make a difference

A 2" adapter is needed to make the fit.. the backspacing is different..
Hawks sells a set..
And i was given this lifonk below

For the Corvette/4th gen wheel a 2" adapter is usually whats needed..

Save yourself the trouble and buy these.

You'll need em at all corners.

The 7/16 stud is the standard size in our 3rd gens.. I honestly dont know what the difference would be w/ the other measurement..

One is metric and the other is SAE. 12x1.5 refers to 12mm diameter studs. Our cars are metric, not SAE. You'll need the 12x1.5mm studs unless you plan on getting new lugnuts too.
