So ive been think about this idea alot never seen it on a thirdgen camaro but often seen black chrome wheels on mustangs

im going to use dupli color black chrome spray paint kit

Looks pretty good. I powder coated a friends valve covers in black crome and have been cosidering doing my HSR

 

thanks alot you should do it not alot off thirdgens rocking blackchrome im not a big fan of chrome unless its a classic car but then not really big fan of it and its hard to maintain

 

very interesting. i'm not sure if i like it alot, but i don't dislike it! i think it is probably one of those things that you should see in person to get the real effect? almost looks like a charcoal gray metallic in pics, which maybe is pretty similar to black chrome- i dunno....

 

Yea I think I put to many coats so the chrome doesn't have the same effect So it looks more metallic I'm still getting use to it myself I like but Its not like I don't like it either just wanted to trying somethig different
