I saw these on Craigslist and called him he said he thinks there late 70s and i need new rims ony 83 firebird. Mine are way to big in front and rub not to mention previous owner put a lot of road rash on them. Will these fit my 83 and is there anything I should know about them before i buy ? $250 is he nuts. I can get them here for $100 all the time as the are never sought after accet for a few people that want them

 

He did not say if they are 14's or 15's. If 14's run away. If 15's you might want to know that they are the cheaper 15X7 wheels. I would offer no more than $200. They are getting harder to find but 15X8's are still available to be found. They are starting to get a little pricier as I only paid 50 for a pair of 15X7's and then 50 each for a set of 6 15X8's when I got mine. Now they are going for about 100 each for 8's. I gave away a set of 14's.
Will they fit? Yes, with no problems. The 8's have the same backspacing as the 7's. The correct metric chrome nuts are available also.
When I refinish them I will be running them myself w/ LT1 rear discs on my 3rd gen rear after I do a V8 - T56 swap.
